Game Glimpse - Episode One

When I ran my own gaming website, I had a great feeling of achievement that I was helping game developers spread their work across the web. While the website is incredibly small, it was still reaching those who cared. Leaving it left me knowing I'd lose the platform and be unable to help game developers from the moment I left.

Turns out that my thoughts were false. I take part in the #IndieDevHour every Wednesday on Twitter at 19:00, pushing out developers tweets to the masses to spread their games, bringing attention to them in that way. I'm also part of a Discord server where I'm a moderator to over 1,500 users who are all game developers, game press, artists, etc.

Then I had a brainwave and got the things into place. I enjoyed reviewing games, but the last video review I did was on The Town of Light and it ended up being over ten minutes long. I felt like it was too long for a YouTube video, and I'm all about short timecodes on YouTube to ensure people stick around. As a result, Game Glimpse was born.

Game Glimpse see's me taking a handful of games and giving a quick review on them, basically nutshelling and pros and cons, then moving onto the next one. This allows me to share a handful of games, but also allows me to continue reviewing, just in bite sized chunks!
